FIFA Give Subsidy for PSSI Rp 16.6 billion | Sport Betting | Online Sport Betting

TA888 - PSSI get sport betting funding again, this time FIFA disburse US 1.25 million dollars, or around Rp 16.6 billion per year for the program titled FIFA Forward. It was presented at a sport betting news conference after a meeting of FIFA and PSSI PSSI office in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (19/02/2017). During the meeting, FIFA was represented by two sport betting delegations that FIFA Director of Member Associations Asia-Oceania, Sanjeevan Balasingam, and Senior FIFA Strategic Development Manager, Tom Gorissen.

"Indonesia's position is important in world football map. In this two days we had a meeting and had to listen to what PSSI needed," said Sanjeevan.FIFA Forward Program has 10 elements. Five of which are part of the program that was launched by PSSI in the Annual Congress in Bandung, in January 2017. "We focus on building infrastructure, organizational governance, the development of youth football, the national team, as well as improving the quality of referees and coaches," said Vice Chairman of the PSSI, Joko Driyono.

The funds of Rp 16.6 billion has not once given by FIFA to the PSSI. A total of Rp 6.6 billion will be transferred in two phases (January and July) for a year devoted to the online sport betting organization's operational costs. Meanwhile, FIFA prepared Rp 10 billion for the project will be made by the PSSI. The plan is PSSI will use these funds to boost the development of online sport betting youth football. All these online sport betting funds will be poured FIFA to help PSSI during the next four years until 2020.
