According to the literature research in Pyongyang, Kim Hong Chol, president of Cuba was also awarded the title as a hero for the North Korea for his efforts to strengthen ties with anti-US and anti-imperialist.

"Castro a great revolutionary. Until his last breath support and defend our revolution and fought intensely against the Americans," Kim told AFP.

Related to the restoration of US-Cuba last year, Kim said the move was made Castro as a "tactic in the interests of the Cuban revolutionary."

Deputy Chairman of the ruling Workers' Party Central Committee Choe Ryong-hae had gone to Havana today (28/11) to attend a memorial service mediang Castro.

During his life, Castro met only once visited North Korea. Both Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il never traveled to Havana.

Castro Visits this happened several decades after the Cuban revolution. Similarity will be hatred against the US in fact not able to fully glue the relationship between the two countries.

Around 1970, Pyongyang and Havana had fallen in the Non-Aligned Movement. At that time, Castro supports the Soviet Union while Kim Il Sung amid keep a distance from Moscow and Beijing.
